Education and research interests:
Mohamed Ibrahim-Sokar: was received the B.Sc. degree with honors in Mechanical Engineering (Power & Energy) in 05/1996, then he joined military service as maintenance engineer in printing workshops of Armed force until 03/1998.
He get the M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering (Power & Energy) from the Faculty of Engineering at Shoubra, Benha University, Cairo, Egypt, in 03/2003. He get the doctor degree in mechanical engineering Dr.-Ing. (Doktor der Ingenieurwissenshaften) from , Faculty of Engineering, Institute of Fluid power drives and Control (IFAS), Aachen University, Germany, in 02/2011.
Dr.-Ing. Ibrahim-Sokar is currently working as Assistant Professor at the Mechanical Engineering Department (Mechatronics), Faculty of Engineering at Shoubra, Benha University, Cairo, Egypt. He is currently teaching courses in Automatic Control of mechanical systems, industrial process control and Fluid power systems and equipments.
His research interests include analysis, simulation and design of efficient fluid power systems, Mechatronics, feedback control, modeling of dynamic systems, and Fuzzy logic control.
